This trip is being organised to encourage local communities to engage in outdoor activities, which can positively impact mental health and wellbeing. This initiative is particularly important in light of the challenges faced over the past few years, including the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

Generous contributions from local businesses, such as JPF First Aid, and individual donors have helped cover the costs of the coach journey to and from Barry Island. Eminence Travel, the coach company, has also supported this effort by offering a discount, making this trip more affordable for everyone.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all who contributed—it is greatly appreciated. Your support has been instrumental in keeping the cost of this trip low for participants.

  • Cannock: 8:00 AM - Cannock Bus Station
  • Brownhills: 8:20 AM - Silver Street opposite Tesco entrance and by the canal  
• • Streetly: 8:40 AM -  Next to the Queslett Pub Car Park Entrance on Queslett Road East
  • Erdington: 9:00 AM -  Bus Stop next to Wilton Road on the A5127

• Arrival at Barry Island: Approx. 11:30 AM
• Return from Barry Island: Approx. 5:00 PM
• Drop-Off Times: Starting from around 8:00 PM at the same locations as detailed above.

Ticket Bookings

This will be on a first-come, first-served basis so please do book your ticket(s) as soon as possible, to secure your place on the coach. You will be asked for your chosen pick-up point when placing your ticket booking.

Should all tickets be sold and you are still interested in going, please do register for the waitlist as there maybe a cancellation where you could still then travel. Should it also be the case that we have a number of you on the waitlist and where this can be accommodated and subject to availability, this can then be looked into the possibility of another coach being put on to support you all travelling. Please be advised that this isn't guaranteed with the second coach but will definitely be looked into as to the possibility so register your interest on the waitlist.

Terms and Conditions:

Please be advised that as this trip is being put on for the local communities to enjoy the day, we will not be able to accept any stag or hen parties etc as this is not appropriate for your particular occasion.

Alcohol/Drugs will not be allowed to be consumed on either the outward or return journey to ensure everyone's comfort and safety on the day. The use of Alcohol/Drugs whilst on the coach is also prohibited in line with the coach operators policies.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult for this trip.

This trip unfortunately does not include any attraction admission tickets as we want people to be able to do their own thing whilst on their free time within Barry Island itself. Please feel free to arrange this yourselves within the free time allocated should this be something of interest.

Food and drink are allowed on board the coach for your outward and return journey, however please don't bring hot food onboard for the safety of you and other passengers. Hot drinks can be brought on to the coach however must have a suitable lid, again for safety reasons.

All ticket bookings made, result in you agreeing to the above conditions and accept that you are also responsible for your own party. This includes arriving in plenty of time to the pick-up points both in the West Midlands locations as specified above and also in Barry Island as detailed.

Should it be necessary and you need to cancel going on this trip, please let the organiser know at the earliest opportunity as this may help benefit others in booking their group party. Unfortunately, on one of our recent trips, there were two separate groups totalling 8 passengers that didn't let us know in advance that they wouldn't be able to travel. Whilst it is appreciated that circumstances do occur and this is absolutely understandable, this did unfortunately cause a delay to our journey as we were waiting at the pick up point for them. Thank you in advance for being courteous and respectful in regards to this area in the event that you may need to cancel.

It goes without saying to please be respectful and mindful of other passengers when travelling on the coach journey to and from Barry Island as well as also respecting the coach itself that is being supplied for our trip by Eminence Travel.

As this trip is being provided for your journey to and from the destination specified, no organiser or company that has donated towards this trip, along with the coach provider; will be held accountable or responsible where this results from your own doing, of which includes the following areas:

• Any passengers failing to be at the pick-up points in either location by the times stated, without prior notification of any valid and/or reasonable reason for you running late where this may subsequently result in you missing the coach. You will be provided with contact details and therefore it is your responsibility to inform relevant contacts of any problems on the day.
• Any passengers found not to be following the above conditions and/or where any abusive or threatening behaviour is experienced to any other passenger, organiser(s) or the driver. This trip is being provided for all to enjoy and therefore a zero tolerance approach will be in place.
