The Benefits of this Course!
- Compliance with Legal Requirements: Meets the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, which require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities, and personnel to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.
- Improved Workplace Safety: Equips employees with the skills to handle emergency situations, potentially reducing the severity of workplace injuries and increasing overall safety.
- Quick Response to Emergencies: Trains individuals to provide immediate care in emergency situations, such as cardiac arrests, seizures, choking, and bleeding, before professional help arrives.
- Increased Confidence: Empowers employees with the knowledge and confidence to act promptly and effectively in emergencies.
- Broad Applicability: Provides skills that are useful in both workplace settings and everyday life, allowing individuals to assist others in various environments.
- Enhanced Employee Morale: Demonstrates a company’s commitment to health and safety, which can improve employee morale and confidence in their employer's care.
- Potential Life-Saving Skills: Offers critical first aid training, including CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, that can make the difference in life-threatening situations.
- Insurance Benefits: May contribute to lower insurance premiums for businesses by demonstrating a commitment to employee safety and risk management.
- Minimal Time Commitment: Typically completed in three days, making it a time-efficient way to improve workplace safety. This blended learning route however allows delegates to complete 6 hours as part of online learning at their own pace, prior to attending 2 days in-person practical sessions. This further reduces the time staff are needed away from their work role duties to attend the in-person elements. The in-person practical sessions typically run from 9am - 4pm on both days.
- Accredited Certification: Provides a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated qualification which lasts for 3 years.
This course can also be completed onsite at your workplace setting. Please contact JPF First Aid to discuss a group booking where you will also receive your group discounted quotation.
